Dangerous drugs lost in Bilton, Rugby
Police in Rugby have issued an urgent warning to members of the public following a report of a large quantity of drugs which have gone missing in the Bilton area.
The drugs, which are all classed as high strength prescription medication could be extremely dangerous or even fatal if taken by anyone without medical advice.
The drugs, which may have been missing for up to a week include 100 x tablets of 50mg AZATHIOPRINE, 32 x tablets of 30mg MST tablets, 56 x 5mg PREDNISOLONE and a BECLOMETASONE inhaler.
The drugs are used in the treatment of epilepsy and should not be taken by anyone who has not had the medication prescrbed for them.
All the tablets are in blister packs with the name of the drug on the back of the blister packet. The inhaler is described as being light brown in colour and similar to the sort of inhaler which people use for asthma .
Anyone finding any of the drugs is asked to hand them in to a police station, to a health centre or to a pharmacy where they can be safely and correctly disposed of.
