New Assistant Chief Constable

Chief Superintendent Andy Parker from North Yorkshire Police has been appointed Assistant Chief Constable for Warwickshire.

Of his new post, Andy said:

"What a great time to be joining Warwickshire Police. With one of the first Criminal Justice Centres in the country about to open and the continuing modernisation of many key aspects of the police service underway, I am very much looking forward to working with such a strong team to make sure Warwickshire continues to be one of the safest places to be."

John Rennie, Chair of Warwickshire Police Authority, said:

"To stand out in such an excellent field of candidates, the successful applicant for this post needed to have substantial experience, vision and high levels of competence. Andy Parker demonstrated all of those qualities and we look forward very much to him joining the force early next year."

Andy is married with two children.
