Anthony Robinson arrested for recall to prison

Following a county-wide appeal for information on his whereabouts, officers have today, 21 September arrested 32 year old Anthony James Robinson for urgent recall to prison.

Robinson was arrested from an address in Bedworth after an anonymous tip off from a member of the public.

PC 1683 Alex Goulding said “Robinson was sent to prison in March last year after being found guilty of affray.

"He was allowed to serve the remainder of his sentence in the community under strict license conditions prior to his release. However he breached the terms of his license and has been recalled to prison."

Officers made extensive enquiries to locate him and are delighted that the public have assisted officers by providing information on where he could be.

Officers are continuing to appeal for information on the whereabouts of 24 year old convicted robber Christopher Wilkinson from the Nuneaton and Bedworth area. Wilkinson is wanted for recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his licence.

Police Sergeant 685 Russell Payne from the Neighbourhood Protection Team said “Wilkinson was sent to prison in August 2008 after being found guilty of robbery.

“He is serving the remainder of his sentence in the community under strict conditions prior to his release. However after breaching the conditions of his licence he has been recalled to prison and we need to locate him as soon as possible."

Latest intelligence suggests he is in the Nuneaton and Bedworth area and also visits Coventry and officers are appealing to the public to help in locating him.
