Warwickshire LCJB Annual Conference

Warwickshire Criminal Justice Board is holding its first public consultation to ensure its priorities reflect the issues that matter to the people of Warwickshire.

Representatives of the Criminal Justice System in the county, partner organisations and members of the community have been invited to attend the conference on January 20th at the Dunchurch Park Hotel & Conference Centre near Rugby. They will be introduced to the work of the Criminal Justice Board through a series of presentations lead by Chief Constable John Burbeck and other agency chiefs, and given the opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas about the board's priorities. Feedback collected from the conference will help the LCJB to define its delivery plan for 2005/06.

Liz Stafford, Chair of Warwickshire Criminal Justice Board, comments: "The conference provides an opportunity for the LCJB to share its plans and priorities with representatives from Warwickshire. We will also be listening to peoples' thoughts on our plans so far, whether there are any gaps and other priority areas we need to be working on."

The conference will help to ensure that the board is listening to the public's concerns.
