Tyre damage, Nuneaton
Police are appealing for information following another spate of tyre damage in Nuneaton in the early hours of Wednesday 4 May.
Reports of damage to vehicles started being received at around 2.30am in the morning. By 8am there had been 36 reported incidents of vehicles suffering damage to their tyres. All the vehicles attacked had more than one tyre damaged.
The roads where the damage has occurred are centred on the Whitestone area of Nuneaton and include the following roads: Avebury Close, Sheringham Close, Eastborough way, Chartwell Close, Blenheim Close, Chatsworth Drive, Kelvedon Close, Ashleigh Drive, Leam Close, Hanover Glebe, Rosewood, Magyar Crescent, Gold Close, Penshurst way and Marston Lane.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the affected areas in the early hours of Wednesday morning to contact Nuneaton CID on 02476 641111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. A reward of up to £1000 has been offered by Crimestoppers for information leading to the arrest and charge of the perpetrators.
Police are especially asking people whose work takes them out and about in Nuneaton in the early hours of the morning such as postal workers, milkmen, taxi drivers, newspaper delivery people, to think whether they saw anything suspicious in any of the affected areas.
