Police appeal for public's help

Police appeal for public's help in tracing suspicious person, Bedworth

Incident 529 of 8 August 2005, Suspicious Person, Willow Close, Bedworth

Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying a suspicious person who approached a 7 year old girl in Willow Close, Bedworth at approximately 1840 hours on Monday 8 August.

The incident occured when the 7 year old girl was returning home on her scooter when she heard a noise behind her. She looked around to see a male who said get here and tried to grab her. He missed and she came home. The male was on foot and last seen walking towards the dead end of Glenwood Gardens. He is described as a white male, aged approximately 25 years old, around six feet tall, with dark hair and wearing a black hoody with the hood up and red and yellow writing on the reverse.
