Assistant Chief Constable Andy Parker said:
"I am very pleased with our performance on this operation. Whilst we do this work all day every day, such operations raise its profile - they send a very strong message to criminals and an equally strong message of reassurance to the people of Warwickshire. This is particularly useful at a time when the structure of police forces nationally is under review. It shows that we haven't taken our eye off the ball despite uncertainty about the future. We aim to make the next operation later this year even more successful and to build on that reassurance.
"I must emphasise that public support is invaluable in the fight against crime: 70% of our arrests are as a direct result of information from the public. I therefore strongly encourage anyone who has information about crime to contact their local police or to phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Your assistance is essential to us."
