Incident 598 January 19 - Robbery, Albert Street, Rugby.

Police in Rugby are investigating a robbery at 22 40 on Thursday January 19. A man was walking on Albert Street at the rear of the Alexander Arms. Two men approached him and asked him the time. One of the men threatened him with a metal bar and demanded he hand over his mobile telephone and a white gold chain necklace he was wearing around his neck. The man handed over the phone and necklace and the two men ran off into Railway Terrace. The victim cannot describe the offenders but one was carrying a carrier bag with something in it.
