Cash Theft, Upper Abbey Street, Nuneaton

Incident 199 - December 6

DC 962 Scott Lymbery is investigating a theft of cash from a man walking in Upper Abbey Street on Tuesday afternoon December 5.

The man left Ladbrokes bookmakers in Abbey Green and was walking along Upper Abbey Street close to the Old Coach and Horse public house at around 16 15.

He felt something touching a back pocket of his jeans and turned around to see a male, who he describes as Asian, walk off.

Later the man discovered £225 - his winnings from the betting shop - had been stolen from his back pocket.
