Police release artist's impression of man in connection with Rugby burglaries
Police have released an artist's impression of a man they wish to talk to in connection with two burglaries in the Rugby area on January 14 and 15.
At approximately 18.10hrs on January 14 a 92 year old woman in Cerce Close, Dunchurch, challenged a man after he broke into the house. He escaped through a window. The woman was not injured, but badly shaken.
The offender was described as possibly a mixed race male in his mid 20s, 5'2" tall with short, dark hair and spoke with a broken accent.
On January 15 a man answering a similar description pushed his way into the home of an elderly couple in Mercer Court, Hillmorton, and stole approximately £250 from the bedroom. When he was approached by the female occupant he escaped through the bedroom window and police were called at approximately 19.47hrs.
