Police arrest and charge suspected burglar

Police were called after a householder in Ribbonfields, Nuneaton arrived home to find a suspected burglar in his house at 14.00 hours on 20 February, Shrove Tuesday.

David Paul Sanders aged 27 from Nuneaton was arrested and charged with burglary, driving offences, two charges of handling stolen goods and deception. He is currently on bail and is scheduled to appear at Nuneaton Magistrates Court on 27 February.

A Sony handicam, wallet and ladies watch of sentimental value were later recovered.
