Inc 402 Tuesday 27 March Update Arrest re "Happy Slapping" inc, Bulkington

Police have made an arrest in connection with an incident of "Happy Slapping" in Bulkington on Tuesday evening (27 March) in which a 15 year old male was attacked and hit while the incident was being recorded on mobile phones.

The attack took place as the 15 year old youth ran an errand for his mother near to Hemsworth Drive.

A 16 year old youth was arrested in Bulkington on Wednesday evening (28 March) and has subsequently been issued with a reprimand for common assault.
