Positive About Young People

Warwickshire Positive About Young People Initiative are organising a series of youth talent contests throughout the County.

During the next month, talent workshops and auditons are being held in Atherstone, Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington Spa and in Stratford to encourage talented young people to come forward and perform.

Various prizes are being offered including a guest spot in Rugby Theatre's Christmas Showtime production.

There are two categories - young people aged 10 - 14 years and also 15 - 18 years.

The final will be held at Rugby Theatre on Saturday October 30. Members of the public can buy tickets for the final from the Rugby Theatre box office on 01788 541234

Workshops and auditions are being held at:

North Warwickshire - Denham House, Long St, Atherstone. Audition on September 25 between 9:30am - 11:30am

Nuneaton and Bedworth - Park House - Riversley Road, Nuneaton. Audition on September 18 between 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Rugby - Rugby Theatre, Henry Street, Rugby. Workshop September 18 between 9:30am - 11:30am; Audition October 2 between 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Leamington and Warwick - Sydni Centre, Sydenham, Leamington Spa. Workshop September 11 between 9:30 - 11:30; Audition September 25 between 2:00 - 4:00

Stratford - Tyler House Youth Centre, Tyler St., Stratford. Workshop September 11 between 2:00pm - 4:00pm; Audition October 2 between 9:30am - 11:30am
