Daytime burglaries Stratford district

Three homes near Stratford upon Avon were broken into after windows were forced during the day on Friday October 1.

Stratford Police are linking the burglaries and are appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity to contact police.

Occupants returned to their Binton Road, Welford upon Avon home to find a rear window smashed. The break happened between 12 30 midday and 15 30. Offenders made an untidy search of the whole house and cash, jewellery credit cards and clothing stolen ( a black leather and suede lady’s three quarter length coat).

At Evesham Road Stratford a house was burgled sometime before 17 20 when the occupants returned home to find kitchen window forced by a screwdriver – an untidy search was made and a laptop computer and jewellery stolen. And at Binton, near Stratford upon Avon between 08 10 and 18 00 – two handbags were stolen after offenders forced open a window to gain entry.

Detectives at Stratford upon Avon are investigating.
